As an emerging business sector, SEPCO1 New Energy Division is mainly committed to construction, operation and management of wind farms, solar energy and distributed energy projects. Being staffed with 180 managers and technicians of various disciplines and equipped with 22 sets of main hoisting machinery, the Division is capable of executing EPC management and construction of several large scale wind farms and solar power plants at the same time. Since its establishment, the Division has implemented more than 50 wind farms of various types as EPC contractor or construction contractor, and put more than 30 wind farms into operation with total installed capacity of 1200MW. Datang Pingyin Wind Farm Phase I and Ningxia Shibanquan Wind Farm, in which the Division functioned as EPC contractor, were conferred upon “China Electric Power Quality Engineering Award”.
