At 11:05 on May 21st, #1 unit of Brazil PAMPA project constructed by SEPCO1 synchronized to the grid without any failure. All the economic and technical indicators of the unit reached excellent level, laying a solid foundation for commercial operation of the project. In order to ensure the successful synchronization, the project commissioning committee has worked closely with the staff of project department in strict accordance with the unit start-up procedure, actively assisted the commissioning and operation personnel. They have successfully completed the generator short circuit test, generator no-load test, excitation regulator test, synchronization simulation test and other electric tests before synchronization. During the preparation for the grid-connection, the project personnel adopted two-shift of day and night and the shift meeting system to ensure 24-hour on-duty. In this way, they had completed the commissioning of the unit effectively. Brazil PAMPA project is a coal-fired power plant with designed capacity of 345MW. The project department was established in 2017. Since the commencement of the project, each one of the project department has fully carried forward the spirit of Iron Army, i.e. “Devotion, Dedication, Innovation, and Transcendence”. They have offered excellence services to the project Owner and management agency. Meanwhile, they have cooperated closely with all the subcontractors, overcoming a lot of difficulties such as the tight construction duration, long customs clearing time of equipment, difference of management modes caused by multi-culture of China and Brazil, and many other adverse factors. The project team took only 22 months to complete the unit system construction, installation and commissioning, etc. The unit has realized the back-charging, boiler hydro-test, steam-blowing and synchronization successfully without any failure. |
