No.1 Unit of Huaneng Yantai Bajiao Project has Successfully Completed 168 hours’ Full Load Trial Run
On November 7, at 17:58, the No. 1 Unit of Huaneng Yantai Bajiao Thermal Power Plant (2 x 670MW), constructed by SEPCO1, successfully completed the 168 hours’ full load trial run.
During the 168 hours’ trial run of the unit, the load rate was 100.3%, the automatic and protective input rate was 100%, and the indicators were excellent, which won unanimous praise from leaders of Huaneng Shandong Power Generation Co., LTD and Yantai Bajiao Thermal Power Co., LTD.
In the construction of the project, the leaders of the company and the headquarters at all levels have given high attention and care. The Electrical Power Engineering Division and other projects have given great help and support.The cadres and workers of the project carry forward the Iron Army’s spirit of "dedication and innovation" and the Project Department adopts the “screw spirit” to overcome the complex difficulties such as foundation treatment, late arrival of equipment, delayed availability of drawings, design changes, late back-charging etc. They have realized the back-charging, boxing-up of steam turbine, boiler hydro test, boiler light-up, turbine rolling, synchronization and 168 hours’ trial run without any failure, They spent only 23 hours from the boiler charged with water to complete the hydro test. They spent only 3 days to complete the boiler steam blowing and only 27days from back-charging to boiler light-up.
The Unit#1 of 2X670MW ultra-supercritical heat supply units were constructed by SEPCO1 in Huaneng Yantai Bajiao thermal power project. The unit is the first domestic port, electricity generating and heat supplying integrated unit. It is the first unit with single line arrangement of ID fan, FD fan and air preheater in China. Auxiliary turbines are adopted for driving the ID fans and the first heat-supplying station. It is of the largest capacity, the highest design temperature, the highest pressure parameters, the most optimal thermal efficiency and the lowest coal-consumption rate among similar units in China. When the units are completed and put into operation, they will play a positive role in optimizing the power supply structure in Yantai city, improving the conditions for regional central heating and industrial processing steam, implementing the national policies on energy conservation and emission reduction, and promoting local economic development.
